Pink Grootendorst
This variety is a mutation of F. J. Grootendorst. It has a different colour, but the flowers have the same fringed petals - therefore they are called carnation-roses. From R. rugosa they inherited their health, winter hardiness and typical thorns.

Excellent rosier. Cet hybride de Rugosa, aux aiguillons typiques et nombreux, est parfait dans une haie de roses, ou en isolé. C'est un rosier puissant et énergique. Ses fleurs comme un œillet plaisent beaucoup aux visiteurs de ma roseraie écologique. J'ai aussi la version blanche White Grootendorst, mais qui, lui, est une variété plus récente./An excellent rosebush. This Rugosa hybrid, with its typical numerous prickles, is perfect in a rose hedge or as an isolated plant. It is a powerful, energetic rose. Its carnation-like flowers are very popular with visitors in my ecological rose garden. I also have the white version, White Grootendorst, but this is a more recent variety.

Unverwüstlich und wunderschön
Ich habe die Grootendorst als Hecke vor vielen Jahren gepflanzt. Sie ist gesund und blüht immer wieder üppig. Wird größer als beschrieben. Ich schneide sie jedes Jahr mit der Heckenschere im Herbst auf Brusthöhe herunter. Treibt im Frühjahr super durch. Duftet nur sehr wenig.
