Bon classique/A good classical rose

Excellent rosier de Portland, résistant. Un très beau parfum pour la rose. Sous la rose, la tige porte des glandes à parfum, comme tous les rosiers de Portland et surtout les rosiers Mousseux. Le fait de pincer légèrement la tige juste sous la rose laisse sur les doigts une belle odeur d'aiguilles de pins :o) /An excellent, hardy Portland rose. Lovely rose fragrance. Under the rose, the stem bears scent glands, as do all Portland Roses and especially Moss Roses. Lightly pinching the stem just below the rose leaves a lovely pine needle scent on the fingers :o)

Das einzig Positive ist der Duft. Die Blüten halten mit etwas Glück zwei Tagen und die Nachblüte ist kaum da. Eindeutig ein Fehlkauf und ich werde die Rose verschenken.

Gibt nicht umsonst neuere Züchtungen

Ich habe mittlerweile weit über 100 Rosen im Garten. Die Rose de Resht duftet unbestritten hervorragend, aber die Blüten erscheinen schnell und halten bei Hitze oder Regen maximal anderthalb Tage, dann kommt erst einmal lange nichts mehr, bevor eventuell einzelne Knöspchen nachgeschoben werden. Insgesamt sitzt die Blüte eher versteckt im kompakten, bei mir auch im dritten Standjahr noch recht kleinen Busch. Fazit: bei mir wird sie wohl wieder aus dem Hauptbeet ausziehen, da ist sie mir einfach zu unspektakulär und kann von der Blütenbildung, -fülle , -größe und Blühdauer absolut nicht mit den neueren Züchtungen mithalten.

berauschender duft!

diese alte rose wächst in meinem garten zwischen einer weiss blühenden strauchhortensie, den kletterrosen aloha und dortmund sowie lenzrosen und anderen stauden, der rambler super dorothy kombinier mit einer gefüllt blühenden lila doppelten clematis, auf den anderen seite des rosenbogens die girlande d amour - auch sehr empfehlenswert kombiniert mit der clematis alpina, felinghonde und der princess diana, hortensie endlos summer und rosarium uetersen kombiniert mit clematis prince charles und einer kleinblütigen kletterrose, ein blütenttaum per exellance! solch eine blütenpracht und schönheit! die rose de ´rescht sollte eigentlich in keinem garten fehlen sowie auch nicht die rose gertrude jackell! danke an die rosenzüchter von kordes! die schönsten rosen der welt, stimmt absolut!!!

Meine Nummer Eins bei den Rosen

Ich habe diese Rose nach meinem Umzug dieses Mal in einen großen Topf gepflanzt. Dort blüht sie direkt neben der Haustür und betört jeden Besucher mit Duft, Form und Farbe. Genau wie ihre Vorgängerin im Beet. Ich gehe nie ins Haus ohne an ihr zu schnuppern. Absolut pflegeleicht und gesund. Den Platz im Garten haben wir getauscht und sie dankt uns diesen Wechsel in die volle Sonnenseite mit Dauerblüte bis zum späten Herbst.

Wunderrose

Die Rose de Resht blüht bei mir seit vielen Jahren und ist absolut winterhart und resistent gegen Krankheiten. Ihr Duft ist wundervoll. Gerade habe ich Rosenblütenmarmelade aus den ersten Blüten gekocht, ein absoluter Traum. Sie eignen sich auch für Rosenblütensirup und Rosenblütenlikör. Da ich in einer Berggemeinde auf 600m.ü.M. wohne kann ich ihre Winterhärte bestätigen.

Kleine Hübsche

Die Rose de Resht hat die historische Blütenform, blüht schön, auch lang und duftet ebenfalls sehr schön. Aber... die Blüten sind sehr klein! Auf den Fotos wirken sie viel größer. Ansonsten aber wunderbar.
