Very abundant flowering floribunda with large, doubled cups and even growth habit. Her velvet red colour was namesgiving for this rose variety.Has received several awards, as the fragrance prize in Glasgow and the prize of the journalists in Monza.
A new romantic release, showing erect growth habit and sweet fragrant flower balls reminiscent of historic roses. The flowers are delicate, but the plant is extremely robust and grows up to a height of 120 cm. This variety is dedicated to princess Alexandra of Luxembourg.
A perfect mix of interesting pink array of colours, high-centred flowers and delicious strong fragrance, high resistance to diseases. The scent is intense, yet fresh. The top notes of citrus are present even when the bud is just opening. When the flower is fully open the wonderful heart notes of fresh litchi and white peach predominate with the fragrances of pear and plum also being present. Named to honor the Countess Elke of Rantzau who passed away in 2015 in the castle of Breitenburg, and founder of the golf club of Breitenburg. The scent starts tenderly. It turns out to be surprisingly deep and strong in its character, which develops step by step. In the top and heart note you can find refreshing notes of creamy-fruity apricot and apple. Whereas in the developing blossom, there is a base note consistent of an aromatic-woody tone. Myrrh, earthy and spicy aspects dominate here in a pleasant and intense way.
