Roses that can be used for slopes are mostly found among the dwarf- and groundcover roses, as they adapt themselves nicely to the sloped landscape. These abundantly flowering varieties are also a good option to conceal retaining walls or concrete ledges. Preferably roses grown as cuttings shall be used in this garden situation.
