Hybrid tea rose type Grandiflora, as the flowers appear in wonderful clusters. Very elegant flower and a strong scent of anise, upright growth habit, very healthy and heat-tolerant, high disease resistance.Several prizes in international rose competitions like the Coupe de Parfum in Lyon and the Golden Rose in Kortrijk.
This apparently lovely rose surprises with a veritable unusual character. The top is introduced with a prominent and extremely aromatic perfume. All-dominant it enwraps the nose with an intense accord of anise reminding of liquorice and aromatic-woody myrrh. Spicy notes like lovage play a minor role. The distinct soapy character of the rose note in the heart of the scent emerges when the blossom opens, and makes the characteristic scent of the fresh rose surprisingly disappear. Honey aspects in the fond form a balanced contrast.

Hervorragende Rose
Ich habe die Rose vor 2 Jahren gekauft. Der Standort ist nicht unbedingt ideal. Im ersten Jahr ist sie nicht besonders gewachsen, hat kaum geblüht. Aber in diesem Jahr blüht sie überschwänglich, wunderbarer Duft, sehr elegante Blüte, steht im Halbschatten, Blätter sehr gesund!

Gesunde Rose
Eine sehr schöne gesunde Rose mit tollen Blüten, aber nur leichtem Duft. Tolle glänzend grüne Blätter, die noch nie Mehltau oder Rost hatten, also sehr robust und gesund. Sie steht jetzt bei mir das 6. Jahr. Was mir nicht so gefällt, ist ihr sehr strammer aufrechter Wuchs, ich persönlich mag es mehr, wenn die Rose einen leicht überhängenden Habitus hat. Ein weiteren Minuspunkt: nach der 1. Blüte hat sie einen geradezu unbändigen Wuchs, 2 Meter sind keine Seltenheit. Um die Blüten zu bewundern braucht man dann eine Leiter.

Guter Duft aber nicht regenfest.
Sehr gesunde Rose, aber beim kleinstem Regen gehen die Blüten kaputt und werden braun. Der Duft ist eigenartig, gefällt mir sehr.

Kein Duft und schnell braune Blüten
Ich bin etwas enttäuscht von dieser Rose. Sie blüht zwar sehr üppig und hat gesundes Laub. Doch von Duft keine Spur und die Blüten werden bei etwas Regen sofort braun. Selbst die Knospen werden braun. Ich weiß nicht ob es bei mir am Standort liegt, sie steht etwas im Halbschatten bekommt aber ca. 5 Stunden Sonne am Tag. Ich warte jetzt noch ein Jahr ab, wenn es dann wieder so ist werde ich die Rose umsetzen.

Schöne Rose
Eine sehr schöne Rose, Blattwerk ohne Tadel satt und kräftig grün. Die Blüte ist auch sehr üppig, schön gefüllt. Leider duftet sie überhaupt nicht, weder morgens, noch mittags und abends. 3 Sterne für die Gesundheit und Aussehen.
