The rose in general does not like extreme heat, even though the rose is known for loving the sun like no other. There are garden situations, where even the rose cannot stand the heat, for example next to your patio or next to stone walkways which can create an extreme reflection heat underneath the rose leaves which may damage and burn the leaves. Next to that there is a danger of very low humidity which may turn to the development of spider mites or mildew fungus. Heat tolerant roses are often characterized through quite small leaves, which help preventing the burning of the leaves. Especially floribunda or groundcover roses protect the soil from heating up too much, through their very dense foliage. Also soil will keep the moist longer, thus insuring a better micro climate. For optimal results it is advisable to have an area with a more or less constant air movement.
